Research

As a sociolinguist, Anthony is interested in language as a sociocultural and cognitive phenomenon, and focuses on the ways ideology and perspective impact our interpretations of and beliefs about the social world. His current project explores the modulation of the effect of speech rate by situational formality on lenition in Mexican Spanish.
